Stanley the dog & High Torque staff make national news

by Calum Henderson

A few members of the Exmel/High Torque team were in the news this week. You may or may not have been aware of the story circulating on social media. Twelve week old French Bulldog Stanley, who was introduced to our followers on LinkedIn last week, was kidnapped in the early hours of the morning on Monday 1st October.

In the days that followed, High Torque employee Rachelle Smyth conducted a social media campaign on Facebook which went viral, being shared over 30,000 times, while managing director Gerard Smyth distributed posters in the local area.

Thankfully, as of this morning (3rd October), Stanley has been returned safe and sound. This story is a powerful reminder of the impact and potential of social media to reach huge numbers of people.
