Exmel opened their state of the art IPC and PACE training facility in 2008. We deliver training here in our own training centre or indeed on your own premises. All training courses can be tailored to suit exactly what you manufacture.

“I have over 20 year experience in process & project engineering within a manufacturing environment. Process development/creation for NPI, supporting all aspects of electronic manufacturing from component preparation, wire harness manufacture, SMT, PTH, conformal coating, potting, rework & repair as well as box build based on IPC standards. I have worked with manufacturing products for Aerospace, Defence, Medical, Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy and the Commercial sector. As I have worked with multiple sectors I have vast experience with leaded, lead -free and high melting point soldering practices. I have been working at Exmel since December 2010. As a Master Trainer I am proud to have the capability to train and certify students in IPC manufacturing standards and share the wealth of knowledge I been privileged to gain throughout my career.”
“I have been working in the electronics and related industries for 38 years, initial 5 years split Waferfab test engineering and customer supporting roles. Moved on to subcontract electronic assembly covering process/quality spanning 15 years in PTH/SMT/TEST/CONCOAT/INSPECTION/telecom product areas. Progressed into technical support roles covering 15 years in PCB manufacturing with involvement in all chemical process areas for RIGID and flexible PCB. to quality. Production/Quality Management covering 6 years in assembly/box build within electronics/oil industries. IPC workmanship standards experience including training roles for over 20 years, roles included customer facing and supporting activities and travel.”
